our values
To help our entire church family remember what’s really important to us, we developed the following Values Statements and posted them on the wall of our Worship Center. We refer to these from time to time to remind ourselves, “This is what matters most”:
We Value our Relationships
with God, because through Jesus he has adopted us as his children into his eternal family; with our Brothers and Sisters in Christ, whom we love and care for; and with others who don’t yet know about the saving grace of Jesus Christ
We Value Spiritual Growth
because God desires all of us to become more like Jesus Christ. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, God uses our worship services, our prayers, our study of God’s Word the Bible, and our life of serving to help all of us grow in faith and in love.
We Value Serving
because Jesus didn’t come to be served but to serve. Using our God-given gifts and skills and living as the hands and feet of Jesus, we wholeheartedly serve each other, those living in our community, and people all over the world.
